The GRAIL HUNT is a scavenger hunt open to all who have raced at least one race in the Cyclocross Crusade series in the same calendar year. The GRAIL HUNT Starts October 1st and concludes November 19th at the End of Season party. The GRAIL HUNT is conducted on public property in and around Portland on a unique bike route identified on a long lost and recently discovered map from ancient times. This year the map is ridden in clockwise direction.
Hunters will search for (12) orange GRAIL ICONS, which will be painted in orange in plain sight along the route. You will know the GRAIL ICON when you see it—-it is a bright orange and painted in plain sight.
Within 100 meters of each GRAIL ICON a RELIC is hidden not so much in plain sight. RELICS have a GRAIL engraved on them this year. Legend says the TRUE GRAIL is also hidden along the route. Only Ryan weaver has found the TRUE GRAIL. He says it is shinny gold but who can trust a guy with a robot tattoo.
FYI –Empty Beer bottles are not RELICS!
IF any RELIC is not found after 1 week of placing, RIDDLES (clues in poem-riddle form) to the location will be posted on our social media and BRIBES (!!!!) can be offered to (KEVIN, RICK, or SHERRY) the for a clue. You may text any of us for a RIDDLE.
