This year we'll be using shoulder numbers. For those of you that aren't sure
how to place them, here's an example.
Please do your best, it'll make the officials' jobs easier and your results
quicker and more accurate!

Hey there,
I am going to race at PIR for my first ever cross race (with my two small boys). I am trying to figure out what category to race. My buddies say to do Masters C (I am 51), because the over 50 race is super fast. I don't train, get in around 20 rides a year, but am naturally strong and would certainly not want to race in a beginners class (I mountain bike mostly and raced road back in the 80's).
Masters C?

Ride beginner your first time. Try Master C later.
