If you're gonna call "on your left" or "on your right," at least attempt to pass at speed. If you're gonna chug along or even get up next to me just to be next to me...calm down...

Seriously? Deal with it unless you're easily blowin' by. There was plenty of room on the course today, no need to make any calls really, it just means someone has to get creative and pick a new line. Get bent.

That's racing. Crashing and breaking parts is part of the gig. Calling "on your left" is a request, not a demand. The person doing who is getting passed doesn't have to make room or do anything but keep racing.

If you don't want to have people crash or go slow in front of you, find another sport.

I humbly suggest that the Knights of this site reconsider how users are
"ranked."

That SSd can become a "Senior Member" in just over a month, just because
he's a habitual poster, doesn't sit so well with me.

Not that any of it really matters, but I'm looking at Zaphod here, who's been
on since 2004, and he's a freakin' "Groupie."

SSd a "Senior Member?"

Something's not right.

HTC - While I agree with your sentiment, applying a hierarchical  overlay upon cross crusaders flies in the face of why many are attracted to the cross crusade.

For what it's worth, I think commenting on the substance of one's postings, or lack thereof, is a better form of rant.  It has been my experience that SSDom's youth has not been lost on anyone that regularly participates on this forum, whether they post or not.

Just something to think about . . .

Just because you're talking doesn't mean you actually have anything to say. Sometimes SSd Reminds me of that song by The Boss, "57 Channels and Nothin' On."

I would agree vespajg, but the fact is that there IS a "hierarchical overlay"
present. I'm just suggesting that seniority count for something.

Or ditch any form of ranking at all.

That's all I'm saying. And trust me, that wasn't smack. I've thrown down the
smack with SSd before. He ain't got nothin'.

While I would very much like the honor and boost to my resume that being a crusade senior member would provide, I feel I must earn it with more and more posts.

It's about quantity not quality.

SSDomination has earned such honors and I, for one, am proud of him. Maybe *his* freshly updated resume will garner him the salary that would allow him to replace so many broken bike parts because of all the inferior riding all around him.

Wait, I think SSD  IS a senior.  Pretty sure he's not a sophomore.

Wow... First, thank you vespajg and Zaphod! Second off whats the big deal with me becoming a Senior member? Its a forum that is only used for cross season. If your taking it that seriously, then i dont even know what to say! If you want to be a senior member then participate more in the posts!

Thats all I have to say.

You know what I'd like to know?  Who has the most posts accrued since this forum began?  Whomever it is, I bet that guy is a super geeky looser, even worse than SSD.  I bet he is one of those a-hole "senior members," too.  The hate is flowing...now I just need to know who to direct it towards.  Arrrrrg!

I have to agree with SSdom here, people do seem to be all worked up about something insignificant.  All it means is that throughout this CX season, SSdom has read and replied to most if not all posts.  To me that sounds like he is excited and focused on the whole of the Crusade, and what his peers, whom are probably all older, have to say.

Hey SSD, save all your crappy comments and poor grammar for MySpace.

How is it you're posting all the time when you're supposed to be in school? Is that also a part of your so-called "emancipation?" Yeah right.

By the way, grapevine says your smokin' pot and still on the hunt for beer at races. You're gonna mess this up for all racers.

Wow, who's all worked up? Just kind of an aside/observation/comment.

Anyway, I will see you all next year, and SSd, I will kick your a*s again like I
did this year.

And of course we all know that no one has EVER smoked pot at a cross race
before.
