Camping
From the Fairgrounds Director:
Camping - We have tent camping available in our upper field. Ten dollars
a night. There are restrooms and showers. We have a limited number of
RV camping spaces. With water and electricity those are twenty-five
dollars per night. Without hookups, fifteen dollars per night. Tent
camping and RV camping are in separate parts of the fairgrounds but not
too far from each other. When you arrive follow the signs to the office and
pay the fees and you will be shown where to go. If you arrive late after
the office is closed you'll have to find your way on your own and pay the
next day.
Additional camping is available:
Fort Stevens State Park - 503.861.1671 - Tent and or RV
KOA - 1100 NW Ridge Rd. Hammond - 503.861.0547 - Tent and or RV
Kampers West - 1140 NW Warrenton, Warrenton - 503.861.1814 - RV only
For those not camping the daily parking fee is $3.00.
DOGS - I have a dog that I love to take everywhere I can. Last year we had
a lot of dogs here. I am not opposed to well-behaved dogs whose owners
clean up after them but I think, if you can, they would be better left at
home. Lots of people on bikes and dogs may not be a good combo. If
you do bring your dog please keep them on a leash (Safety first).
Lodging
Holiday Inn Express (may already be booked), 503-325-6222, 204 West Marine Drive, Astoria.
More lodging information available from the Astoria Warrenton Chamber of Commerce.
Food
The fairgrounds will have food and a beer garden available again. They will be open Saturday and Sunday for breakfast and lunch. They may stay open longer if business is good. They serve a hearty breakfast and good burgers.
